as someone who is 18 and about to graduate high school, hearing your wisdom about these things changed my mindset in so many ways. There is so much jealousy and competition in this phase of life and my mantra that I like to repeat is "celebrate other's wins as much as your own." because I ultimately believe that you get what you give in friendships and life. thank you for this article, girlhood can be beautiful at any age or phase of life if can you let it! :)
